Apt 53 candles are made from flammable materials. Please exercise caution when using them to avoid fire hazards, injuries, or damages. By purchasing and using our candles, you agree to adhere to the following safety guidelines:

 

1. Never leave a burning candle unattended.** Always extinguish the flame when leaving the room.

2. Burn candles within sight** and keep them out of reach of children and pets.

3. Trim the wick to 1/4 inch** before each use to prevent uneven burning or excess soot.

4. Burn the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface** away from flammable objects, drafts, fans, and vents.

5. Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours** at a time. Always allow the wax to cool before relighting.

6. Discontinue use when 1/2 inch of wax remains.** This prevents the jar from overheating or cracking.

7. Avoid handling the candle while it’s burning.** The container may become hot.
